Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardhy Memorial Scholarship

(Late) Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardhy  was the Prime Minister of United Bengal  before partition. After the emergence of Pakistan, Mr. Suhrawardy was elected as a Member of the first Constituent Assembly of Pakistan in 1949. He then became Minister for Law in December 1954, and after one year, in 1955 he became the Leader of the Opposition to a coalition Government. He served Pakistan as Prime Minister in 1956. The Constituent Assembly succeeded in finalizing the Constitution only after the principle of parity was established due to his personal efforts.

To honour his contributions in the development of law and constitution, LSL takes pleasure to announce Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardhy scholarship.

Note: The scholarships cover 50% waiver of Admission and Tuition fee, Library Fee and Security Fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 75% in Intermediate or equivalent
  • Minimum 60% marks obtained in LAT
  • Must score A grade in the interview with LSL Governing body.
