Law & Policy Research Centre
The fundamental aim of the Law & Policy Research Centre (LPRC) is to promote and disseminate a multidisciplinary understanding of law through legalresearch.The Centre aims to produce research work conducted by our students and faculty members on the subject of law and important legal issues.
The Centre has a three-part mission: to engage in research that advances knowledge about the global legal issues; engage with, and learn from legal professionals in different jurisdictions on global legal issues; and to promote critical, analytical and writing skills amongst our students through publications in law journal and other platforms.
Therefore, the team at LPRC has been actively engaged in various activities such as conducting webinars, preparing law journals and policy reviews on a wide array of legal issues with the publication of articles that are authored by our students and faculty members.
Attika Rehman
Legal Researcher, LPRC
Ms. Attika Rehman is a practicing lawyer, International Law Researcher and Human Rights Activist. She is currently pursuing an LLM with a specialization in International Law from International Islamic University, Islamabad. She completed her LL.B (Honors) from Nadira Hassan Law Department, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore.
Her research interest include International Law, International Fashion Law, Criminal law, International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law.
Syeda Shehrbano

Ms. Shehrbano is a practicing lawyer and holds an extensive experience in the field of legal research. She is actively engaged in voicing her opinions on legal issues through writing newspaper articles and research papers. She completed her LL.B (Honors) from Nadira Hassan Law Department, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore.
Her interests include environment law especially in conservation of biodiversity in Pakistan, family laws and human rights.

Syed Absar Rahat Rizvi is a law graduate and is currently pursuing his LLM at the University of the Punjab. His areas of expertise and consultation encompass Constitutional Law, White Collar Crime, Family Law, Criminal Law, and Cyber Offenses. He possesses a strong passion for Comparative Legal Research. Presently, he is working as a legal researcher and teaching assistant at the Lahore School of Law (LSL).
Ahmed Raza Siddiqui

Ahmed Raza Siddiqui holds a degree in LLB hons (05 years) from Punjab University Law College, Lahore. With a proven track record of offering comprehensive and insightful legal analysis, Ahmed possesses a solid foundation in various legal domains, exceptional research capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to delivering top-notch work. He is passionate about unraveling complex legal issues and devising innovative solutions to assist both legal teams and clients. Additionally, Ahmed actively contributes as a member of both the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and the Lahore Bar Association. Currently, he serves as a research assistant at the Lahore School of Law.

Nida Ahmed is a dedicated legal professional with a robust educational background and extensive experience in corporate law. She holds an LLB degree from the University of London and has further expanded her knowledge through an LLM (Master of Laws). Nida has had the privilege of working across diverse sectors, gaining valuable experience at renowned organizations such as Fatima Group of Companies, Nextbridge Pvt Ltd, Crescent Bahiman, and The City School. These opportunities have finely honed her skills in legal advisory, contract negotiation, compliance, and risk assessment. Her core strength lies in addressing complex legal challenges and providing strategic insights that contribute to achieving business objectives.
Nida’s skill set encompasses a broad spectrum of legal expertise, including corporate law, advisory services, contract negotiation, legal analysis, compliance assessments, and risk management. She is adept at problem-solving and effective communication. Her passion lies in resolving intricate legal matters and providing essential legal support to guide businesses toward success.
Currently, Nida has taken on a role at the Lahore School of Law, where she serves as both a member of the teaching faculty and a researcher, further contributing to the legal field and education.
